Coru - Updated Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics

Updated Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics
In 2010, the Health and Social Care Professionals Council (Council) at CORU developed a Framework Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics detailing common standards across its regulated professions. The Framework Code is for use by each Registration Board to adopt its own Code of Professional Conduct and Ethics.

CORU Registration for Medical Scientists opening 31st March 2019

We are delighted to announce that the medical scientists register will open on Sunday 31st March 2019. The Academy will support its members to ensure this process is as simple as possible for them. National Laboratory Handbook

The National Clinical Programme for Pathology is in the process of producing guidelines to add to the National Laboratory Handbook.

The following three guidance documents are ready for external consultation:

 Scope of the Public Hospital Medical Testing Laboratory Network
 Laboratory Testing for Natriuretic Peptides (NP) - BNP / NT- proBNP
 Laboratory Testing for Alpha-1 Antitrypsin Deficiency (AATD)

We would like to offer the ACSLM the opportunity to participate in the consultation process.
