Who should attend? The workshop is open to Health and Social Care Professions Managers, and will be of particular interest to staff involved with or leading on a local or national quality improvement or change management initiatives.

Aim of the Workshop: To provide managers with the knowledge and skills to build a successful business case and to plan, implement and manage a change or quality initiative.

Course Objectives:
At the end of the workshop you will be able to:
 Recognise what makes a good business case.
 Explore the 8 stage process to build a successful business case.
 Better understand how to make effective resource based decisions.
 Identify and gain support from critical stakeholders.
 Utilise the tools and protocols to support effective communication.
 Create a comprehensive overview of a project using BOSCARD.
 Plan and manage a change or quality project.
 Use the relevant tools for planning and breaking down work into manageable segments.
