13.45 - 14.30: Practical exercises using Reflective Module, and CORU Template
14.20 - 15.15: Linking Personal Development Planning to CPD.
15.20 - 16.30: Your Plan. Challenges, barriers and motivation.

This CPD event is organised by Monica Fitzpatrick CPD Officer for the Academy of Clinical Science and Laboratory Medicine. It is the country wide rollout of an Introduction to Reflective Practice including Personal Development Planning. Previous events have taken place in Dublin and Cork, co-presented by Dr. Alison Malkin, and Dr. Brigid Lucey. 

Within previously registered HSCP professionals, the CORU requirements of 8 reflective practice submissions over a 24 month period has been the norm. This workshop will give you the skills and knowledge to understand and participate in reflection as a standard practice. Tools on how to implement it and the benefits and challenges that go hand in hand.  Included are practical exercises which will prepare you for the challenge of developing this skill as part of your Continuous Professional Development.
